Remington Breaks With Zumbo

This from the COMMENTS on the first Zumbo post; I haven't verified that this if REALLY from Mr.Milner, with whom I have always had a cordial and vedry friendly relationship:
"I proudly own AR's and support everyones right to do so!

What makes me sick is how quickly people on the internet have called to boycott Remington. All Jim said was he was hunting with our people! This is normal course in our industry. How else do people think we field test? with writers.

Remington has spent tens of millions of dollars to defend your rights and how quickly the thanks is threat and boycott! Please feel Free to post that Remington does not agree with Zumbo in any way shape or form and we will assess our relationship with him accordingly.

Tommy Millner
CEO and President"
I hope it is from Tommy, becuase I believe Remington is and has always been 100% with us. They have put their money where their market is, and I would hate to see them suffer for Jim's, "Slip of the tongue." If you contact Remington, make sure you clearly state that you DO NOT blame them for the comments...

Dear Mr. Millner,
Most people don't think, ..... that's (basically) how we get into these messes in the first place.

I wish you well, ..
.... I wish us all well ...

This guy is now radioactive. Let us hope that Remington truly has cut him loose. Traitors such as this deserve no quarter.

Michael: Mr. Zumbo is going to learn the hard way what every long married man in world knows and that is "Words have a Life of Their Own."

The previous post said it well, Mr. Zumbo is now Radioactive with a half-life of probably more than twenty years. Any sponsor of Mr. Zumbo's would do well to begin creating distance as fast and as far as they can post-haste.

Personally, I believe he has revealed just how far out of touch those in the 'hunting community' of the firearms industry are with what's really happening and the trends in the entire firearms business.

The word "elitist" has been used over and over in the past 72 hours to describe those in the 'hunting' community and I feel it is deserved. As hunting licenses continued to decline in sales and areas open to the common man for hunting shrink, those who argue for 'hunting' as the only legitimate use of firearms are an elite group of travelers on the river 'Denial'.

The only thing Zumbo said in his article that I agree with his admission that he didn't have a clue.

I can forgive, but I will not forget, nor would I ever trust him again. Betrayal is a nasty business.

All The Best,
Frank W. James
